Hi, I'm Lorna and welcome to BodyTonic in Silverstream, Upper Hutt.
I offer a selection of therapies that aim to bring balance to the whole body. Since my training in massage therapy in 2017, my learning has never stopped. I've been a 'student' since 2017 learning all about anatomy, structure and function and fundamentally - how the body heals. I'm currently undertaking a bachelor's degree in Health Science, majoring in Acupuncture and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine - 2023 - 2026).

My Story
Welcome to BodyTonic in the heart of Silverstream, Upper Hutt.
I offer a small selection of treatments such as Bowen Therapy, Reflexology, Aromatherapy Facials and Relaxation Massage. My main aim is to still the mind and invite the body to essentially heal itself by bringing balance and harmony.
I started out on this journey as a Personal Trainer back in 2016 then undertook extensive training in massage therapy (and related modalities) and offered massage for 6 years for muscular pain and structural issues, However now, I offer Bowen therapy in place of massage as from experience the positive results have proven to last much longer and also target the deeper structures of the body as well as all the systems - to balance and harmonise. Massage is still available for general wellbeing and relaxation.
I hold Diplomas in Massage, Bowen Therapy, Reflexology and Aromatherapy and have undertaken Skin Health therapy training with Janesce botanical skincare in Tauranga. I have also undertaken many additional trainings in modalities such as:- Structural Integration, Neurofascial Pain Management, Indian Head Massage, Trigger Point Therapy and more! And from 2023 to 2026 I will be working towards a bachelor's degree in Health Science majoring in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to further develop my skills and offer a wider variety of healing methods.
My lovely, peaceful and private clinic is based out of my home in Silverstream, Upper Hutt. The client space is separate from the rest of the home and offers a quiet client lounge and bathroom.
